# Self-serve preparation checklist — Coaching Platform Fit Pack

The preparation track for the worksheet. Work offline entirely: open records you already own, copy what matters, mark the boxes. There is no step in this checklist that creates an account, submits an application, moves subscriptions, spends money, or messages anyone. If a task appears to need one of those things, it belongs in Section 5 under "needs platform or provider review", not in your to-do list.

**How to mark.** `[x]` — done and recorded. `[ ]` — not yet. When a line stalls because only your own action or a platform's answer can finish it, say so in Section 5 rather than skipping the line quietly.

## 1. Workspace and evidence ground rules

- [ ] Choose where the gathered facts will live as plain files (this pack's own folder is fine).
- [ ] Copy exact text — policy wording, plan names, prices as published — instead of paraphrasing from memory, and note next to each copy which page or file it came from.
- [ ] Confirm the boundary: this pack never collects identity documents, credentials, or payment secrets. Nothing you record here should ever contain them.

## 2. Offer record (for the worksheet, Sections 1 and 4)

Pull each item from your own records and mark it found or not found:

- [ ] Your offer's website or public listing as it stands today
- [ ] Sales material a prospective customer would actually see
- [ ] The deliverables — what a customer receives, written plainly
- [ ] The access period as written (open-ended, fixed term, renewal-gated, other)
- [ ] The refund policy as written
- [ ] The renewal terms as written (price, cadence, notice required)
- [ ] The cancellation terms as written (how a customer cancels; what happens to their access)
- [ ] Customer locations as you already know them from your own records (use what you have; this pack does not direct you to gather new research)

## 3. The customer-view journey (for the worksheet, Sections 2 and 3)

Walk the payment-to-access path the way a customer experiences it and record each step in writing. Reconstruct it from records, receipts, and screenshots you already hold — fresh live purchases are not part of this exercise.

- [ ] The checkout entry point and payment provider, named
- [ ] Automatic steps and hands-on steps, marked distinctly
- [ ] How access is delivered, who or what adds the customer, and the timing as observed
- [ ] The cancellation path, and what happens to access, as observed
- [ ] The failed-payment path, as observed (retries, notices, manual chases)
- [ ] A short count of hands-on steps you actually performed this month, or "none observed"

## 4. Platform and payment-instrument inventory (for the worksheet, Section 5)

- [ ] Every platform or community tool your offer touches, named
- [ ] Every payment instrument your customers actually use, as seen in your records
- [ ] Subscription machinery you run, if any, and what it manages
- [ ] Mark any instrument outside plain Stripe card-on-file — the migration tool documented in this pack's research covers Stripe subscriptions only and names Link, ACH, and SEPA as excluded. Anything else is a question for review, never an assumption that the documented path covers you.

## 5. Separate answered from unanswered

Sort every open item into exactly one bucket:

- [ ] **Answered** — fact located, recorded, and source-noted; it moves into the worksheet now.
- [ ] **Needs owner action** — no one but you can supply it (a policy that was never written down, a count you have not made).
- [ ] **Needs platform or provider review** — a named platform plus a named question; park it in writing and send nothing yet.

## 6. Finish line

- [ ] Transfer the recorded facts into `fit-assessment.md`
- [ ] Note any item that needs a further review beyond this pack, with one line on why
- [ ] Complete the worksheet's conclusion with the label that matches your actual state

**A closing note on responsibility.** If a fuller review — or any future application — ever follows from these notes, the identity, country, and account details involved are yours to enter: yours, not any helper's. Nobody working with you may substitute their identity or credentials for yours, and your account and payment records stay in your name. This checklist does not collect such details, and it never should.
